Photography Project: Honoring the Emotional Truth of Abortion

As part of the impact campaign for the film Before You, which explores abortion in the context of a planned pregnancy, we’re creating a photography project that invites people of all backgrounds to step out of silence and into shared expression.

We’re looking for women and men who have experienced any version of abortion and would like to reflect their emotional truth through a photographic image. This might be a portrait, something symbolic, or even a still life...whatever feels meaningful and honest to you.

Together, we’ll collaborate on a photograph that represents your personal experience. You may remain completely anonymous if you wish...your boundaries and your truth will always be respected.
